Series of postage stamps devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Armed Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan was prepared by OJSC “Uzbekistan Pochtasi” and put into circulation by the Agency of Communication and Informatization 3 January 2012.

Under the direction of the President Islam Karimov large scale work aimed at the providing independence of our state, it’s safety and territorial integrity, strengthening of national army that is the guarantor of piece and order in the country is carried out.     
Series of postage stamps issued in the form of a small sheet that consists of 8 stamps, where achievements and stages of development of the Armed Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan during the years of independence are illustrated.

Medal with the image of the monument “Vatanga kasamed”, devoted to the 20th anniversary of the Armed Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan, is illustrated in the center of the small sheet. The stamps are illustrated:

Solemn handling of the diploma to a young lieutenant and congratulations from the parents is illustrated.
Solemn military ceremonial - administration of oath nearby the battle banner. Solemn handling of the flats keys to the servicemen families is illustrated.
Manoeuvres with the usage of helicopter over highlands are illustrated.
Mortar battery manoeuvres.
Military ceremonial - administration of oath nearby the battle banner against the monument “Vatanga kasamed”  Training of students of Military Academy of Armed Services of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The fragments of manoeuvres are illustrated on the fields of the small sheet; inscription in Uzbek language in Latin drawing «О‘ZBEKISTON RESPUBLIKASI QUROLLI KUCHLARIGA 20 YIL» is given in the top part of the sheet.
